Convolvulus virgatus
Perennial, woody base, stems spreading, up to 40 cm, older branches yellowish, stiff, spiny tips, without hairs. Leave lance-shaped to linear, 0.2-1.5 cm long. Flower solitary or in clusters of 2-3, on 1.2-2 cm long stalks from leaf nodes, white to pink, closed by mid-morning. Sepals very hairy. Flowering Jan. – Apr. or sometimes throughout the year.
